Karate Creed:

A bit of background on this "poem". When I was a little boy my father used to teach me a lot of "rules" and "principles" whenever I picked up something new to do or use. Shoes - how to properly take care of them. Slingshot - What to shoot at and what not, how to use it safely. And so the list continues. When I started karate he gave me this poem - I still don't know the origins or even what my father's background with martial arts were, but I thought I'd share this with everyone.

I come with only Karate.

I have no weapons.

But should I be forced to defend my self,

my principles, or my honor,

Should it be a matter of life or death,

right or wrong

Then here are my weapons,

KARATE.
